outing with besties, without the presence of Veronin

where is kenny?

Friends~

Cakap time!

my lunch~ yummy!

Gross 'D.I.Y Birthday cakes'

concentrating while eating~

Chin Chin with her lollipop~

Momo believes in FOOD IS EVERYTHING

On the 23rd of April, I had organized an outing activity with my friends, or I should say they are my classmates, besties and buddies.
Besides crazy Momo, the normal people that went to the activity were Perry, Bernadine, Ashley, Baozhi, Chin Chin, Ming Leung, Ming How and Ming Huan.
Many ‘Ming’~
Actually we also invited Doris, but she can’t go due to some problem, so sad. We knew if she is there, the atmosphere will be difference a bit, crazier a bit.
We met at KFC around 11.30am. As usual we eat and talked at the same time. I found that Perry didn’t consume Chicken’s lard (can I said it is lard?), so healthy. Bernadine and Baozhi ate in a slow manner, how graceful (=.=”)~ meanwhile, how was Momo table manner? Of course, good lah! Nothing particular.
The most funny and terrible part will be when Ming How and his friends (I am excluded, wahaha) decorating a ‘fabulous KFC style Birthday cake’~ ya, it is indeed taste so nice, although we no need to eat it, we can already know the taste. It consists of the mash potatoes, sweet chilli sauce and etc. Gross~
After fooling and packed our tummy with chicken in KFC, we proceeded to Boon Khai to taste Ais kacang! I ordered ABC with coconut milk, so delicious. You know what, there was a hair fallen down into my dessert, the hair was belongs to the worker, so I requested the taokay nio to change a new bowl of ABC for me, in the beginning she doesn’t want to do it. She still wants to clarify that it wasn’t their fault, but I insisted to change it! And she did a new bowl for me.
Wahaha~ after consumed a nice ABC, we went to the Spring! Perry drove me, Chin Chin and Baozhi! He was just cool. Furthermore, Ming Huan drove Bernadine, Suk Ying and Ming Leung! All are expert in driving, except for me and Baozhi! (=.=”) my driving skill? Horrible.
At the Spring, we walked to here and there. Before going back, we relaxed ourselves with a superb and economic Ice Cream from Sugarbun! Yea, we did take photo while eating ice cream. A nice memory.
It was a good day! I enjoyed it. However, some of our Swinburne friends didn’t join us, because they have class. Except for Ming Leung! Hehe… if they also have fun with us, I think it will be other form of joy atmosphere.
It will be a last meeting for me to meet Ming Huan, he will fly to Singapore on 24th of April. Going to Singapore for study, you know, at Nanyang Polytech! Don’t pray-pray lah! Jiayou, ah Huan!
Ming Leung will go for Matriculation in Labuan. All the best for you.
The rest of us, we will go to Form 6 to study or play while waiting for the results from local universities or teacher training college.
I will certainly selecting the Arts stream now, I will study Sejarah, Business studies, Pengajian Am as well as Malay Language. No power to study Form 6 Maths anymore. I want to be lawyer, so try to take Arts, and see how my progression is.

wit pals at Spring

Me with besties at the Spring, we were eating Ice Cream! yummy~
A very precious moment with them, Ming Huan is going to Singapore Nanyang Polytech soon, so miss him!
The rest of us will still meet each other at Form 6.
We will go to SMK Stampin for Form 6! I am the only one enter Arts stream, taking Sejarah~
Silly me, right?

MP for Bukit Lanjan, YB Elisabeth Wong is coming back!

YB Elisabeth Wong

MP for Bukit Lanjan, YB Elisabeth Wong is coming back!
YB Elisabeth Wong was once famous with the semi-nude photo incident. She had been betrayed by her boyfriend, to illustrate, her boyfriend had captured her semi-nude photo while she was sleeping, all of it happened without Elisabeth consent.
To make the thing became worsen; her boyfriend even posted such pictures to internet.
YB Elisabeth was very depressed and disappointed by his attitude.
She re-signed from certain posts that she was holding started from the last election periods, however, her decisions were stopped by her PAKATAN politic mates, voters as well as women from every part of Malaysia.
She wasn’t doing anything wrong in that case.
Thus, Menteri Besar of Selangor gave her a long break to think about her political journey and have a great rest.
After some weeks of recharging, now YB Elisabeth is coming back~
Elisabeth doesn’t move back neither she was afraid.
She remains to be the assemblywoman of Bukit Lanjan and Selangor state Executive Councilor, her aims were clear, which are to fight for the people of Malaysia, especially Selangor people.
From that case, I noticed that Elisabeth is a very brave and wise woman. In the political arena, everyone needs to be alert and beware, if you want to stay long in that ‘games’, Elisabeth, she is very good in taking such challenge and she had a crystal clear direction that she want to move on, even the matter might rapture her reputation. She was no worry, just need a break and restart her journey~
YB Elisabeth, I support you, keep fight for us.
Therefore, I also found that CERTAIN girls are intelligent than boys in term of facing difficulties and solving problems. Besides that, girls were sometimes owned a particular self-confident and bravery that can’t be comprehend by men, including me.
From the creation of Adam and Eve, I knew that Eve was cleverer than Adam, but in other words, she was a little bit naughty until she dares to eat the forbidden fruit.
However, I respect women because of their motherhood powers as well as the toughness they used to have~

my brother and me

Momo and his brother at one of the garden in Equtorial Hotel, Cameroon Highland

Just now, i woke up quite early in the morning, around 7am~
So, i made myself a cup of tea, of course, a milk tea.
I am a typical coffee lover, but this morning i happened to drink tea~
so i opened the drawer in my mum's kitchen, yeehaa, i managed to get a box of tea that we purchased last year, from Cameroon Highland.
I missed my vacation to Cameroon so much! i love the berries and fresh veggies fron that highland.
A simply cup of tea, indeed cheer up my Saturday~
Happiness isn't that hard to archieve! trust me.

maju jaya

Momo is acting cute! Be tahan~ extremely siao!

Yesterday, 15th of April, I had post my application letter to Malaysia Multimedia University, Melaka campus via Pos Laju.
I sent that letter with very complicated feelings, to analyze; it was feelings mixed of keen and worry as well as excited elements.
MMU is a great higher institution for me, as it located near the downtown of Malacca. 3km away from Jusco and food hawker stalls as well as shopping places. The Christian Club in MMU also very active and MMU near to many churches, so I know I will not be lonely when I studying there.
But, I don’t know how the hostel is and as I know I will miss Kuching a lot.
Anyway, now I really need to set up a goal and reach my target. My mum had told me that my diddy will ‘throw’ me to New Zealand to do my final year of LLB (Bachelor in Law), if I can manage to maintain a good result.
Yea, a life without target is meaningless, as a student I testify, a study life without target is totally lost. No one can ever survive without an aim and a direction.
So, selamat maju jaya to all my beloved friends.

easter 2009

Momo and his happy family joined the Mass to celebrate the Risen of Christ

The faithfuls were lighting candles for their Easter Vigil Mass at St Faith Anglican Church

the Words that lead us to eternal life and the Candle that shine our path

“…After three days I will rise again…” (Matt. 27: 63-64)
11th of April, 2009 was the Easter Feast for all the people that celebrated it.
Easter is the greatest feast of the year for the believers of Gospel, from every kindred, tongue, tribe, nation and background.
It is a day of joyful celebration as well as a day of reunion among the family members.
At Easter, we celebrate the great central mystery of our faith, namely our redemption from sin and restoration to the friendship of God. We are redeemed by the death and resurrection of Jesus, not by his death alone.
By dying for us and rising again, Jesus Christ made it possible for all men to pass over with Him from death of sin to the new life of friendship with God.
Thus, through His resurrection we had been granted an eternal life and redemption of sin.

As what the Christians declared during the Worship time,
“Christ is died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!”
Indeed, He is Risen~

MAY THE PEACE OF EASTER DWELL IN OUR HEART AND SOUL.

some good words

Mormon's Temple in Hong kOng~

tonight, as i read through the Book Of Mormon that given by western missionaries, i found some nice words, it's quite upliftying~

the words are like this,

"... Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day... (Alma 37:37)"

Though the believers are cult, but their teachings still have moral values~ so, respect each others and let's be firm in our own belief~

a message from Sister Pauline Ng

Today, while having my lunch, i received a message from Sister Pauline Ng, she's a very good senior of mine.
She celebrated her Good Friday in KL, at St Francis Xavier's with her foreign friends.
I am so glad to know that she got 3rd highest grade scorer in the examinations (Human Resourse) in KDU College. She deserved it, as she really work hard for it and i knew it will happen, because she must be prayed before did the questions and i believe in prayers~
I still remember the scene, how we co-operated with each other to make Chrisittian Fellowship in our former school, SMK DPHA Stampin ran smoothly. She was my loyal and helpful 'setiausaha'~
anyway, i hope we will meet each other in Sabah in the future, a near future~

Morning of the Good Friday

Momo is listening to songs~

Today is 10th of April, Good Fridae~

I woke up at 8am, did nothing and slacking for two hours. Then 10am followed my parents to church for the GOOD FRIDAY service.

Today is a day that believers of Christ, from all denominations and beliefs hold in one heart to memorise His day of crucification at Calvary for the sake of mankinds.

Well, today is also a family day for us, because my dad just coming back from Batang Ai, he went there for duty. Batang Ai just had their election.

My dad told us, Batang Air is a very small township and the only have two or three shoplots~ besides that they locals are mainly living in long houses and their villages can only be reached via water transport. Too far from the development~

Hope the election can really improve their life style!

I vow i will help the natives, some day in my future~ of course i will help them in their ancestral lands's cases~ it's a hot difficulties that facing by the locals.

We walked around Wisma Saberkas and some main shopping centers.

So, bored~ Kuching is too small for us to hang out!

Major of Kuching city, please develop Kuching in a fast speed!

palm sunday 2009

The blessed Palm!

Today is 5th of April, Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter.
My family as usual will go to church to join the Sunday service, but this year, it was a bit particular as we celebrated our Palm Sunday at Blessed Sacrament Church, BDC, for this year. We joined the Chinese language Mass.
After we picked some Palm leaves from a basket which full of blessed Palm leaves, we enter the church and recited Rosary prayers with the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ.
Of course, we will bring back the palms.
The Palm Sunday is a day for us to remember the glorious of Lord Jesus Christ when He entered the Holy Town of Jerusalem, 2000 years back. The event took place shortly before His death on the cross on Good Friday.
Jesus Christ was celebrated merrily by the people of Jerusalem when He entered tpo that city. The multitudes lay all palm branches and their finest clothes on the grounds; it’s an act to respect and honor the Son of God.
Besides that, the people also shouted the praises to God, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest! (Matthew 21:9)”
How great were His names!
After celebrated the Palm Sunday, It recalled us to the season of Holy Week. The arrival of Holy Week is the end of the season of Lent (season of fast and repentance).
Before Easter (the day of where Jesus Christ rose from the death) arrive, we celebrate Maundy Thursday (so-called Lord’s Supper), during that season, the Priests will renew their vows and the elders form the church will wash our foots. As an act of humbleness. Then, the Catholic Faith churches will hold vigil, we will pray for the whole night.
On Good Friday, we will recall back the scene how Jesus died for us on the cross~ it’s a solemn Holy day, the center of the faith of Christianity.
Then, we celebrate a very happy feast start from Saturday night till Monday Night, it will be EASTER DAY~ the day when Jesus Christ rose from death!
It’s a brief introduction to the Holy days that celebrate by most Christians of One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith in the world. (=.=”) wahaha~
Please read it with an open mind~
I am going to think about what I will receive from this Easter day, this year.
Lastly, HAPPY EASTER~

visitation of Mormons

a copy of Book Of Mormon

This after noon, I encountered with two very handsome and well-manner Mormon Missionaries from USA.
Well, I was watering the plants outside of my house, then two of them approached me. They called themselves, Elders and they want to share with me some ‘GOOD NEWS’.
I knew, they were going to ‘brain-wash’ me, but okay-lah, I just listened to them.
Luckily yesterday was quite cloudy, no terrible hot weather, so we just having conversation outside of my house.
As they talked to me, I seldom replied them, but I observed their way of speaks. Their American slangs were not that bad, I can comprehend it and they metaphors that they were using were so weird.
One thing I found it was very funny will be they kept mentioned, ‘I want you to think TWICE!’…. ‘I want you to think TWICE!’…. they repeated it 6 times in 15 minutes time.
Maybe they were quite disappointed with my cool and speechless expression, they decided to go away. Before they moved, they present me a copy of Book Of Mormon and a very nice booklet, THE SALVATION PLAN as well as a card shown the TEMPLE OF MORMON, Salt Lake City, USA.
Lastly, it was a weird experience for me. It happened less than 15 minutes! I haven’t finished with my plants and they already moved away!
Ok~ it will be one of my extra-ordinary memories.

one way in Jesus

It's a very nice Praise and Worship song by Hillsongs United, named, One Way.

Who said Christians can only shouted Hallelujah and sing in a high pitches?! we are modern and trendy too~

picture of occlut

I found this picture quite nice and it fills with a veil of mysterious~
I made me think of MAGIC, GYPSIES, TARROTS and of course OCCULTS! hehe~ i am not sure, if i really believe in superstitious, i know i can't beleive in it, due to my Faith. But i know, the world isn't that simply~
Ron had mentioned to me about his Horror incidents and me, myself can heard the voices from 'other worlds'~ so, i believe, strong belief in the 'spirits'...

Gaporians and Sport day

School field~ a place of memory!

Today my ex-High School was having their annual sport day. I knew it from juniors.
Well, as usual, every Friday I will fetch my brother from his school, SJK Stampin, which are opposite to my high school.
So, while waiting for the primary school students to dismiss their class, my mum and me will hang around Premier 101, maybe to buy some daily necessities or vegetables for dinner.
To my amazement, I saw many athletes from High School, they were very proud of their sport t-shirt, either Paus, Jerung, Marlin or Lumba-lumba~ besides that, they even display their lucky number behind their t-shirt.
I still remember of my green Paus! I once proud of it before, but after the shirt turned smaller and smaller gradually, I didn’t wear it anymore. Why that shirt will decrease in size?!
Yea, I miss my life as a secondary school student. I will not forget the Hari Guru, Sport Day, National Day assembly and so on. Luckily I did participated in all the activities when I studied in SMK DPHA Gapor for 5 years~ I part which made me so regret was I never took part in competition during Sport Day.
As a St John Ambulance member, I used to have duty during that day, so I can hardly involve at any events in that day. But thanks to St John Ambulance, It’d widen my scope and knowledge in performing First Aid, sometime It also rescue me from doing prefect’s stuffs which were not in my favour.
Suddenly, I think of Madam Lee E Ling, then leader of Rumah Paus. In the year of 2007 or 2008, I can’t think clearly, she swung our Paus flag and shouted ‘Paus, Paus the Champion house!’, I really miss her now~
Can I return to my High School’s life now!

love the earth

Let us love and tender the Earth~

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

It was my Great Thursday Morning

Today is 2nd of April, I can’t slept well, so I woke up quite early today.
When I watched at the clock, oh~ 5.20am! Damn weird, I slept less than 2 hours, normally I should feel very exhausted, but not today.
It was my 4th times in this week! I followed my mum to market!
Without think too much, after get a T-shirt and ‘threw’ my pajamas into washing machine, I accompany mum to market.
Firstly, we bought pork (san teng bak), then to seafood section, we purchased some sliced of Mackerels and half KG of shrimps as well as fishballs. Lastly to vegetable section, yea, we bought many vegetables. However, it is just for today’s consumption. It is a best way to make sure the foods are in a fresh condition, so my mum goes to market daily.
The butchers were all looked so fierce when the cut the porks into pieces, I told my mum, they were all have the potential to be a good MURDERER! Nonsense~
Heehee, I saw a very cute kid belongs to an aunty who sold fishballs. I wanted to take his picture, but quite ashamed, maybe next time.
Ok, we really turned around Stutong Market to seek for items and ingredients that needed for our meals. It was quite fun. Wahaha~
After finished with our ‘shopping’, we used to have Breakfast together. Well, before start my day, I ate a bowl of Chicken Mushroom straight noodles and end-up with a cup of Milk Tea! Wooo… woo… it’s a great combination, yea, in my view.
It was my Great Thursday Morning~

April Fool or April Full?!

April Fool or April Full?!

Yesterday was 1st of April, it was an April Fool.
After I left the school, no April Fool in my life~ Yea, my April Fool was merely an April Fool without shocking, irritating and annoying things happened around! I missed that kind of April Fool.
However this year, my April Fool was April Full, because I ate a lot of harsh browns yesterday. I love harsh browns, recently. I can’t imagine the sensation that brings by harsh brown, it was so delicious if we eat it by dip some Kimball Thai’s chili sauce and a little bit of Mayonnaise (to taste better, please try with Thousand Island sauce)~
So, another weird event happened in my 18 years of life, my April Fool was not funny and foolish at all, it was about the relief of hunger~ April Full.
I want to live a normal youth life!

auto and manual

My skill of driving still the same- dangerous! Recently, the Perodua Kembara (an ancient car belongs to my mum) that I used to drive was sent to workshop for some repairs or what, I don’t know. So, I only have two options, one is to drive using Kenari and two is to drive Toyota Vios (my dad’s), both of it were Auto gear! I almost fainted down after knowing the reality~
I chose Kenari, I don’t dare to use my dad’s car! Because I know my driving skill will ‘hurt’ that car~
Based on the KIASU attitude that I have, I try my best to learn how to drive with Auto-gear. To my amazement, It was thousand times easier than Manual gear’s vehicle. Without thinking much, I told Veronin about that miracle as fast as possible!
Wroom… Wroom… nowadays I fall in love with the vehicles with Auto-gear, I really hope I will not ‘touch’ manual-gear’s cars anymore!
I am talking crap now~ haha!

Qing Ming Feast coming soon

Our Lord, please lead our loved ones to Thy kingdom! Amen.

it's so fast, the Day of Qing Ming is nearer to us~

My family is not Chinese, so we don't have the habit of visiting our forefathers's grave sites during that season. We did visited 'them' during Gawai eve, All Soul's Day and their departure anniversaries.

It's a tradition for people from every tribes and nation to do something to remember their loved ones, who had left them earlier. In Asian cultural, we visit to their graveyard~

I enjoy the moments when i followed the elders to our family cemetary. I went to my grandpa's cemetery quite often, in there, i didn't felt any creepy feelings like what i saw from television~

After some 'gotong-royong membersihkan kawasan perkuburan', we will stand up holding hand in hand and pray for our loved ones, sing a Hymn and of course, we will put some flowers and lid candles! i love the moment when we need to lid candles, espeacially when i am still a kid. We can 'curi-curi' play with fire~

After visiting to cemetary, we will have a family gathering at my grandma's place at Serian! Of course, it will be our MAKAN TIME~ wahaha!

However, the point that we celebrating the feasts and clean-up our ancestors' grave tombs and whatsoever are an act of remembrance them! We need to be gladful and appreciate our parents and friends since they are still alive.

God bless~

60 EARTH HOURS

60 EARTH HOURS

The above event as I had mentioned was happened last Saturday, from 8.30 pm till 9.30 pm.
I did participated in that particular ‘international grand event’~ Yea, so easy, just switched off the lamps as well as certain unnecessary electrical gadgets and so on.
Too proud to know that the people in my neighbourhood did joined the programme. Their children switched off the lamps punctually and some of them even lid up candles and sat outside of their verandah, while watching to the stars as well as having some light conservations.
In our family, we were in a dark atmosphere, but television was never ever switched off~ so, it wasn’t that effective in my home! But, at least we tried to remain everything to the point of minimum.

We practising the habit of save current everyday, so no worries~
However, they were some blurr neighbours of us who didn’t knew about 60 EARTH HOURS campaign, even they are working in media and communication sector, how ashamed! They not only lighted up their house during that night, they also came to my house and asked what was happening? LOL~
I enjoy darkness rather than hot air temperature! Let’s us be more alert to our atmosphere and earth around us. Thanks for those who had joined the campaign~ You had improved the earth through your little action.
