A night in Blessed Church

Momo said, 'cheese!'

me and bobo, the princess~

me n Suli~ while waitingf for the church activities to happen!
A night in Blessed Church, Tabuan Laru

Today is 20th of March. Bobo had invited me, Suli and Bernadine to her church, as they were having a dance ball. A nice programme and a warm invitation from a friend, we joined. However, Bernadine had some stuff to do, so she cant follow us, but her blessing was be with us.

Bobo stood near to the main entrance to greet us and invite me and Suli. We met many youth from our school who are the member of the church. Yea, I get amazed, now then I know they are Christian.

The activities were more to performance by the groups and ‘praise and worship’ lead by the Pastor Lim, a very handsome and youthful pastor I ever encounter. His way of presenting the Words of God and sermons as well as singing were so great! He is quite stylish too~

My first time to Blessed Chuch was quite enjoy, the people were friendly. The ‘Praise and Worship’ are so touched and everyone were really participate in the programs.

A Great Memories in a day

a FEAST for licking ice creams~ hehe!

My favourite breakfast~ how great!

Cool Ming Hao, a future forensic expert!

Benadine and Veronin~ so happy that day?!

Andrew Chai get high by the chicken rice~ a weird phenomena!

Bobo, what are you looking?! Wow, Suk ying is so concentrate while eating chicken rice~ hehe!

A Great Memories in a day.

On the 19th of March, I had gone to the Spring shopping mall with my classmates. That day was the date of birth of Veronin and the belated birthday of Ming Hao.

We had made appointment to meet each other at 10am, in Starbucks the Spring. However, me and Andrew Chai were the last one to arrive there. It was my fault, as I departed from my house at a wrong time! 9.45am, it used to be many cars around that time. I am just a new driver, so my driving skill is still ‘not that good’~ I drove 50km/per km, quite slow! When I went to fetch Andrew Chai, it was already late. He laughed at me! How dare~

Once we arrived Spring, two of us ran like mad to meet our classmate. Firstly, we saw Veronin and Bobo, they were taking orders in the counter at Starbuck. My first impression was, will they scold me?! Suddenly, they greeted me and we shake hand. I felt so relieves~ Then, it was my turn to take order, it was my breakfast. I order a cup of Coffee, a tall one, as well as a Cinnamon Walnut roll~ so great!

When we just sat down in a very comfortable sofa, a blue one, the rest of my classmates came to us. I apologized! They understood my silly problems and forgave me, but need to be very punctual next time! Wahaha~

Bernadine, she wore a very elegant dark dress, black shoes and a matching handbag. She looked so feminine and amazing that day~ Suk Ying also followed us, she was as simple and nice as usual. Then, Ming Hao, our ex-National Service’s participant was wearing a cap, he looked mystery yet cool. Ming Hao is so great in driving! Salutation to you~ let’s talk about our Andrew Chai, wow, his hair is so straight nowadays! Looked totally difference, although we didn’t met for few months. Veronin, she sticked with the principle of simple, easy and Korean-orientated style of wearing! You wore a very nice butt, really! She made me felt as if I was in Seoul~ Lastly, Bobo, sometime I like her simple fashion outlook. A wonderful t-shirt matched with a jean, as long as you know how to deal with it, it will be nice! Bobo had done a great job! Parallel with her Christian faith, she is so moderate in her fashion, but still adorable. What’s the factor?

No matter how, all of us is still as crazy as usual~ it’s permanent in our heart! We chat and hang out from a place to a place, but CRY OUT LOUD, the Spring so small for us! Maybe it’s very sufficient to certain citizen of Kuching, but for us, PEMUDA-PEMUDI YANG BERPANDANGAN JAUH, it’s not enough at all! Mayor of South Kuching, Mr. James Chan, I hope you can build another large shopping mall in our town. It’s for the sake of younger generation, if we happy and satisfy, we will study even harder, then Kuching will have more and more potential leaders, workers and elite groups. KUCHING WILL HAVE HOPE~ Do it for Kuching’s future!

We did a lot of window shopping. Nearly lunch hour, all of us went to food court. Bernadine, Suk Ying and Andrew Chai ate Chicken rice~ the rest of us watching them eating, because we want to eat other foods! Hehe~ while they were eating we talked. We really appreciate every moment when we assemblage together. Although we had MSN, Hand phone and other very detail methods of contact with them, face to face and chat, it will forever be the smartest choice to converse with friends, because the feelings and eye contact is there. (I know Andrew Chai will probably ask me to use WEBCAM! If he knows I had written this statement.)

Me and Veronin ate Mee Siam in Kluang Station. The foods were still ok, but I really love their drinks. Bobo ate friend rice, I don’t know the tast but it smells good to me, however, Bobo was complaining the taste of the fried chicken. She claimed it had a too strong ginger taste.

Among all of us, Ming Hao and Suk Ying were the earliest to depart. Because Ming Hao needs to go to UCSI to get application cert and Suk Ying following his car. We accompanied them to carpark and bid farewell to them! So sad, we nearly cry out, because we know it’ll be hard for us to meet and having fun again in the future. As we will further our studies in difference places anfd fields. Like Ming Hao and Veronin, they will start their courses next week. Ming Hao taking Cambridge A-Level and Veronin will be a student in Business Foundation.

Then, Andrew Chai will go back to KL, for A-Level course in TARC. He told us many his about his life in KL and his studies. Wow… it is not that easy for us to take A-Level, especially for those who don’t have enthusiasm in Physics, like me! Talking about Suk Ying, she wants to be teacher. Same thing with Bobo~ hehe! They will teach our children Chinese and Maths. Amen! Bernadine is a very devoted St John Member, she wants to be nurse. I know, for the service of mankind, right. Ming Hao, a forensic-expert-to-be. I pray for you, my friend. Wahaha.I am the idiot among all of my friends, as I wanted to study Law. A subject which never connected to Science. They claimed that I had wasted my times in Science streams for 2 years, based on my qualification, I should join up the series of Science stuff, but my interest is not there. So, I will take the burden and move it on. I know to study Law isn’t that easy and there are certain responsibilities that we need to bear once we were a Legal practitioner. Lord, do make way!

I re-think, yea, it will be a little bit hard for us to meet again, but I have faith that our relationship will perfectly preserve. We connect each other via SMS and MSN, frequently. Frinedship forever. We meet again~

Disappeared and reappeared~

Me, with a pale look, going to do reverse parking~

Me and Ern Ping~
Me, Bobo and Kang Zhan took the picture while waiting for the rains to stop~
Disappeared and reappeared~

I had disappeared for some days! I was too anxious and worried about my SPM results and driving test. To make me even stress up, the things that happened to me were took place in the same week! Driving test was on 10th of March, meanwhile for SPM test it was 12TH of March~

Let me unveil it one by one!

On the 10th of March, I woke up quite early, around 7am. I kept telling myself, it will be a hard day for me, as my driving skill wasn’t that excellent by that time. I prayed. I wished I can handle it.

My tutor, uncle Andrew and me arrived to the Bintawa driving institution punctually. Yea, many potential future drivers had arrived there more early than me! I met Ern Ping, Kang Zhan and of course, Bobo. So cool! As I am not going to be alone, thus I can shared my anxious with 3 of them~

4 of us were very calm in our outlooks, but I know each of us were so worried and a little bit of nervous. While we were waiting for our turn to be examined by the JPJ officers, we chat and discussed the route that we might go! Luckily, I was selected to route C (Laluan ke Bandar Kuching), it is a familiar route for me. The route is more toward left side.

Our first mission was to climb up the man-made hill, in our dialect; we named it as Molley Hill. Based on our practices and rehearsals, it should be no problems for us to ‘climb up’ the hill and stop in the middle of it. Who knows? When it was my turn to drive the car to the hill, it started to rain, raining like dogs and cats~ So creepy, luckily nothing bad happened! Hehe~ I felt so relieves when the JPJ people screamed at me and said, ‘Jalan lah!’~ it was a sign I passed that part of test.

We sat down in a fake bus stop while waiting for the rains to stop. Within 10 minutes, we saw sun and clouds re-appeared in front of us~ So great, the reverse parking and on-route test will happening soon. We were ready~ hehe.

Oh~ it was reverse parking test now! I hate that part. My heart beats increased in its rate, a little bit of nervous. When I saw the face of the lady JPJ officer, oh, I get shocked again; she looked so fierce and really never smiles at us. After we waited for a while, it was my turn. I shivered, when I ‘performed’ the parking, I mean, reverse parking. I afraid that I will knock the poll, how embarrassing if I hit the obstacles. Just imagine the sounds and my reaction if I really hit it. Hard to imagine! After reverse parking, we will be tested by 3 turning points reverse-move on driving methods, yea, it ran smoothly. Yay~ I passed the complicated parts.

I am a nut in driving, I really grateful to have such an opportunity to pass the tests as I had mentioned above. Hehe~ next, I will be our final test- on route test. Kang Zhan was the first one among us to sit for the test, his JPJ examiner was quite young and through my observation, he is a nice person, so Kang Zhan should be okay. Hehe~ of course, he managed to pass it. Congratulations! Next, it was my turn. My examiner is a guy. In the beginning, every thing ran quite ok, no negative elements occurred. However, I felt so weird, as he always kept on playing with his phone. To illustrate, he even dated a girl in front of me; of course, he dates a girl via hand phone. He invited that unfortunate lady for a dinner in that Saturday. Oh gosh! Weirdo~ no wonders I can’t concentrate while driving in that day. Thanks be to God, as I pass the entire driving test and get the P-LICENSE.

Although I get my license, my mum still kept in complaining my driving skill so frightening and according to my brother, it is so dangerous~ I have no comment, but I just know that I drive quite fast and ‘rough’ if compare to other friends of mine. Cheers~ I will pray before drive, no worries Diddy and Mimi as well as my brother.

END OF HOLIDAYS?!

Lydia Teh, my favourite Malaysia author

HONK! If you are Malaysian~

(from left, K Moses, Perry and Ming Huan)

END OF HOLIDAYS?!

Today is 6th of March~ We sit have 6 days to go to get our SPM test results! It is a very frightening day for me! I am waiting for it.
Before I end up these long and fun holidays, I again spent lots of money to purchase all the books that I interested with.
Yesterday, I went to Popular, BDC to have a look and who knows I can seek all the books that I am still missing! To my amazement, I saw Ming Huan.
He’s working his part-time job in the bookstore. We talk a lot about our plans after get the results, he want to study Aerospace’s stuff; then I told him I want to take LAW. We chat from a topic to a topic, quite a fun conservation.

After ended up our talks, i finally found my new darling book, entitled, ‘HONK! If you are Malaysia’ by Lydia Teh! It is a very interesting and wonderful book, the author is a typical Malaysia Chinese woman with four children. Her writing skills were so creative as well as a lots of sense of humor~ Once I read it, it seems like drinking a bowl of HOT SUP AYAM in a cold night. So warm-hearted and it brings a fresh air to our suffocating tactful society of Malaysia! It is a book that Malaysian should read and laugh with its contain. So Malaysiana.

Oh Gosh! After I picked the book I’d mentioned earlier, I saw another book, entitled, ‘Hantus and Spells with some survival guides’ by Nambai. Nambai is a Malay author, through his English educated background as well as his broad minded, his writing style were so fantastic and you will not get bored by his writings. As An ex-lawyer, he really didn’t act like a somebody or a serious person in all his articles; he tried to create another kind of atmosphere in Malaysian English Literature. I enjoy his ghost stories, then he really know how to play with English words. He’s one of my favorite local writers.

In order to save my wallet from ‘dried-up’, I walked to counter and paid for the books. Luckily I didn’t turned back and searched for any books again. If no, I really bankrupt~ I had bought 4 books in this week, average 9 books a month. Now then I realized why I am poor.

It’s my preparation towards end of Holiday, before the beginning of new College life.

God helps me to make way, please~

vroom vroom

Mr. K. Moses is driving~ as if so expert, actually he's not.

Me and Cherdass~ He dove, while i was looking at him!

Vroom Vroom

Today is 4th of March. I had taken the courage to sit for the driving pre-test!
The pre-test is quite important for us. It determines whether we can sit for the JPJ Driving Test or not.
I had prepared myself to sit for the test for at least a week earlier. I admit that I have short term memory lost; It is quite hard for me to memorize all the route in Bintawa areas, as for me it looks almost the same. For the sake of the test, I by heart the routes and try to recall it many times.
So, as usual my tutor, Uncle Andrew came to fetch me to driving institution around 2 pm. When I arrived at institution, Cherdass accompanied me and we had great talks.
In the same time, I saw Sebastian, Grace as well as Evelyn Bong. They were all learning car~ Grace and Evelyn greeted me, so warmly. Sebastian, he remained as cool as usual, our conversations were so simply but it was great.
Sebastian waited his tutor for quite a long time.
Okay, after did a lot of signatures and filled up the form given by my tutor, I followed an aunt to complete my mission- driving pre-test.
OMG~ when I was driving, the aunt talked with me and we had a simply chit-chat, but after I reached Pending roundabout, I started to panic and my driving skill become drastically ‘lousy’… Thank God, I still pass for the pre-test!
Vroom…Vroom…
This coming Tuesday I am going to sit for the real JPJ driving test, I am freaking nervous now~ Anyway, I will drive very slowly and be cautious during my driving actions, like what Uncle Andrew had advised me before this.

Oh~ I must gambateh!
